tjena!chat

Call WhatsApp contacts — without giving out your WhatsApp
Stay reachable to people who only have you on WhatsApp, without exposing yourself to WhatsApp calling. tjena!chat never places a WhatsApp call — it sends your contact a private link they tap to call you, over tjena!chat's own encrypted infrastructure.
No WhatsApp call is placed
Your contact just gets a normal chat message with a link — WhatsApp never carries the call.
Nothing to install
The link opens a call page in any modern phone or desktop browser. No app and no account required.
Encrypted on our infrastructure
Calls run peer-to-peer where possible, with media encrypted in transit (DTLS-SRTP). WhatsApp never carries the audio or video.
Voice or video
Pick a voice or a video call — your choice, every time.
How to use it
Up and running in a few taps.
Tap to call
In a WhatsApp chat, tap the call icon and choose Voice or Video.
We send a link
Your contact gets one message: a short note that you don't take WhatsApp calls for privacy, plus a call link.
They tap to join
Your contact opens the link in any browser and taps Join call — no app or account needed.
You're connected
Your tjena!chat app rings with the normal incoming-call screen. Answer and you're talking.
Always reachable on WhatsApp
Turn it on under Settings → Local Bridges → WhatsApp calls:
- WhatsApp web calls — enables the call button in WhatsApp chats.
- Auto-reply to WhatsApp calls — automatically answers incoming WhatsApp calls with a "call me here" link, so callers instantly know how to reach you.
- Auto-decline WhatsApp calls — also stops the incoming WhatsApp call from ringing.
One-to-one calls only. Your contact needs a modern browser and an internet connection. Each link is short-lived — starting a new call invalidates the previous one.
